JOHN W. BAERG

John Baerg died Nov. 24. He was born May 11, 1934 in Coaldale, Alta. to David and Anna Baerg . He re- ceived Christ at 9. The family moved to Chilli- wack, B.C He attend- ed MB Bible College, Winnipeg, and the University of B.C He married Evelyn Neumann in 1961 . He pas- tored in Kief, North Dakota and planted a new MB church in Victoria (Saanich Com- munity Church). In 1972 he joined Campus Crusade full-time, working in Abbotsford, Toronto and Edmonton. In 1996 he became national director of CC's prayer ministry, in Langley, B.C He loved the church, serving on church boards. He regularly prayed for others, send ing them personalized prayers based on Scripture. He was diagnosed with cancer in 1999. He faced his death joyfully. Predeceased by 4 siblings, he leaves Evelyn, daughters Joan Lalor and Arlene Wilkins, 2 grandchildren, 6 brothers, 1 sister.
