JOHN WARKENTIN

john Warkentin died june 17. He was born to G.P. and Elizabeth Warkentin Sept. 17, · 1925 in Mexico. They moved to Gem, Alta. He accepted the Lord at age 11 and was baptized at age 18. They moved to Ab- botsford, B.C in 1946. He married Mary Unger in 1952. They farmed for almost 25 years. He was a charter member at East Aldergrove MB Church (now Ross Road Community Church). He was a teacher. During retire- ment they camped and travelled. He pa- tiently persevered through failing health. Predeceased by 1 sister, he is mourned by Mary; children Ron, judy Coleman, Dan, Lydia Haak, Alan; 16 grandchildren; 5 brothers; 2 sisters. The funeral was june 23 in Ross Road Community Church with Rudie Willms ministering
