— Two long-time members of the Lone Tree Mennonite Church near Moundridge died recently. Both were retired farmers. Jonas W. Koehn, 80, of Moundridge died at Mercy Hospital on Feb. 20 after a long illness. The funeral was scheduled to be held at the Lone Tree Church on Tuesday morning, with Rev. Herman Nightengale and Rev. Jonas Koehn officiating. Jacob H. Wedel, 90, of Canton died at Salem Hospital in Hillsboro on Feb. 11. The funeral was held at the church on Feb. 13 with Rev. Jonas B. Koehn and Glenn Unruh in charge. He leaves five sons and their families, while immediate survivors of Mr. Koehn include his widow, four sons and four daughter and their families.
