— Word was received here of the death of Carl Riesen, 55, which occurred Feb. 24 in San Francisco. He was born in Newton and his father, Prof. Emil Riesen, taught at Bethel College. During Carl's childhood the family lived at Tucson, Ariz. where his father was a professor at the University of Arizona and where Carl received his education. He also took graduate work in architecture at Yale University, and since then had been associated with an architectural firm in San Francisco. He leaves his wife, Faith, two children, a daughter-in-law, and one brother, Austin, of Riverside, Calif. Among the relatives here are two aunts, Mrs. Selma Linscheid of North Newton and Mrs. Walter Niles of Newton.
