CHARLES STEPHEN GREEN

Charles (Charlie) Stephen Green pas se d away Dec. 13. He was born July 20, 1925 to Joseph and Edith Green in Tantallon, Sask. The fami- ly moved to Meadow Lake , Sask . in 19 32 . He had very little schooling and at about 16 started working for farm ers, en joying the work on thr es hing crews. He worked for the town of Meadow Lake for many years, in j obs ranging from garbage collection to cemetery maintenance, until retirement. He lik ed play- ing ball , old-timers hock ey, fi shing at his favourite spot at the la ke and bowlin g, mak- ing many lifelong friends in the pro cess . He lived at Golden West Manor for a number of years, then Northland Pioneer Lodge. Pr ede- ceased by 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 2 half-si ste rs and 2 half-brothers, he is mourned by br ot h- ers Jim of Saskatoon and Rob ert and Donald of Meadow Lake. The funeral wa s Dec. 17 at Northwest Community Church, Meadow Lake, with Bob Cappelle ministering.
