ANNA BOLDT

Anna Boldt passed away Oct. 16. She was born Dec. 27, 1910 to jacob and Elizabeth Neufeld in Crimea. Th e fami ly moved to Siberia. Her father was drafted in 1914 and died. The family moved to Molotschna, where her only sister died. In 1927 she and her mother moved to Vin eland , Ont., to Br es lau, Ont., where they worked as domestics in se parate home s, and to Kitchen- er, Ont., where she worked in Goderich Fac- tory and they could estab lish their own home. She was baptized in Kitchener MB Church. In 19 30 she married Peter Boldt. They bought a farm in St. Agatha, Ont., then one in Be amsvi ll e, Ont. in 1939. She provided a home for her mother, h er gra ndmoth er for a ti me and then daughter Irene and a grand- daughter. She worked very hard in th e fields, in the barn and cutting wood in t he bush . At Vin eland MB Church, she was ac t ive in MCC projects, the hostess committee and the women's group. She loved to read, sew and work in her flower garden. They moved to Vin eland, Ont. in 1972. She modelled love, faithfu ln ess and commitment to prayer. She moved to Tabor Manor, St. Catha rines, Ont., in 2001. Predeceased by daughter Laura in 1982 and Peter in 1992, she is mourned by daughters Irene Fagundo of Vinel and and Carol Ediger of Winnipeg; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The funeral was Oct. 21 in Vineland MB Church, with Henry Wiebe and Helmut Koop ministering.
