• Betty Goering, 41, of Pretty Prairie died Feb. 20 at Grace Hospital in Hutchinson after an extended illness. The funeral was conducted Monday afternoon at the Pretty Prairie Mennonite Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. Ben Rahn officiating. Miss Goering leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin J. Goering of Pretty Prairie; a brother, Curtis, of Pretty Prairie; and two sisters, Mrs. Fred Unruh of Regina, Sask., formerly of Newton, and Mrs. Marlow Unruh of Hesston.
