JAKE RIEDIGER

Jake Riediger passed away Apr. 22 at St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit in Lethbridge, Alta. He was born Jan. 11, 1933 to David and Neta Riediger at Stavely, Alta. He attended school in Vauxhall, Alta. He worked with Calgary Power stringing lines and later became a heavy equipment operator working in the Vauxhall area and northern Alberta. He enjoyed fishing, but church was his main focus. He worked with Christian Service Brigade at the MB church. He is mourned by siblings Kaye Haggith of Bellingham, Wash., Lydia White of Wetaskiwin, Alta., Mary Row of Prince George, B.C., Margaret Rempel of Vauxhall, Shirley Bengry of Lethbridge, David of Brooks, Alta. and Kornelius of Quesnel, B.C. The funeral was held at Vauxhall MB Church, with Bill Glasspell, Leo Siemens and Rudy Heidebrecht ministering.
