ARON LEPP

ron Lepp of St. Catha rines, Ont. pa ssed away july 17. He w as born Feb. 8, 1907 to ja- cob and Katrina Lepp in Dejevka, Orenburg, Russia, the 3rd of 10 children . When he wa s 16, the family immi- grated to Canada. They farmed through the de- pression in Altona, Man., then moved to On- tario. At 32, he ma rried Susan; they farmed in the Niagara area. He enjoyed working th e land and spending time with his family. In lat- er years, he and Susan tr ave lled and wint er ed in Florida. He loved growing nut trees, esp e- cia lly waln ut trees, and taking care of his yard and garden. He was proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. At 52, he was bapti ze d and joined the MB church. In 19 91 he had a heart attack. Short- ly after, they mo ved to Tabor Apartments, St. Catharines. He is remembered for his devotion to his Saviour and hi s gratefulness to live in a safe country. He is mourned by Susan; chil - dren David, Rit a Petkau, Kenneth, Arnold, and Barbara Pearson ; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral was july 20 in Grantham MB Church, St. Catharines, with John Wiebe ministering.
