• Mrs. Shelly D. Miller, 79, longtime resident of the Inman community, died Sunday at the McPherson County Hospital after a brief illness. The funeral was conducted Tuesday afternoon at the West Liberty Mennonite Church, with Rev. Edward Birkey officiating. Mrs. Miller was the former Ida E. Zook. Survivors besides her husband include three daughters, Mrs. Willard Brunk of Hesston, Mrs. Raymond Zimmerman of Windom, and Mrs. Clarence West of Hubbard, Ore., a son, Robert E. of Halstead; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, three step-brothers and one step-sister.

• Among those coming from a distance for the funeral of Mrs. Ida Miller, 79, wife of Shelley Miller of Inman, were a daughter, Ms. Clarence West of Hubbard, Ore., Royce Brunk of Winslow, Ariz., and a brother, Paul Zook and Mrs. Zook of Montclair, Calif. The service was held at the West Liberty Mennonite Church.
