• Funeral services for John J. Graber, 70, who was killed in a car-pickup accident west of Moundridge on April 24, were conducted Saturday forenoon at Harder Funeral Home in Moundridge. Rev. Ed R. Stucky officiated. Mr. Graber, a native of Moundridge and a retired miller, was a passenger in an eastbound pickup truck driven by Delbert D. Krehbiel, 46, when it was hit broadside by a car coming from the south driven by Elmer D. Nickel, 25, of Custer, Okla. Nickel was treated at Mercy Hospital for bruises. Krehbiel suffered a broken neck. He was admitted to the same hospital and later transferred to the intensive care unit of Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Mr. Graber leaves two brothers and three sisters.
