MRS. JUSTINA A. DUECK

Justina Dueck of Greendale, B.C. passed away on December 15. She was born on December 15, 1898 to the Abraham A. Harders at Neu Toksaba, southern Russia, and grew up in Grossweide, Molotschna, where her parents started a Mennonite children's orphanage. At age nine she accepted the Lord as her personal Saviour. She attended Tschongrau Bible School where she met Henry G. Dueck; they were married in 1924. In the same year they emigrated to Mexico and in 1926 to Canada. Their only daughter Martha, born in 1926, died in infancy. In 1930 the couple moved to B.C. and became charter members of the Greendale MB Church in 1931. They were ordained in 1935. Her husband died in November 1978. She leaves to mourn sons William and wife Tina and John and wife Frieda; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters.
