• Funeral services for James Donavon Jost, two-week-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jost of Hillsboro, were held at the Ebenfeld M. B. church on April 8. Rev. George Classen, the pastor, was in charge. The infant son, born at Hillsboro on April 5, suffered from a heart condition. He was brought to a Newton hospital and then transferred to the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City where he underwent surgery. He died soon after the operation.
