GEORGE B. THIESSEN

George B. Thiessen passed away Aug. 29 in MSA Hospital, Abbotsford, B.C., with members of the family present. He was born Mar. 2, 1904 to Peter and Helen Thiessen of Winkler, Man. He married Gertrude Rempel Oct. 9, 1932 in Bradock, Sask. Later they moved to B.C. He committed his life to the Lord and was baptized in Central Heights MB Church in Abbotsford. Later he joined Clearbrook (B.C.) MB Church. His health became frail and they moved to Sunset Manor. Predeceased by 3 brothers, 1 sister and 1 granddaughter, he is mourned by his wife; daughters Norma Wieler, Rita Penner, Betty Denman, Jenny Montie and Dorothy Clark; son Walter; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers.The funeral was Sept. 4 in Clearbrook MB Church, with John E. Klassen ministering.
