DAVID REDEKOPP

David Redekopp of Niagar a-on-the- Lake, Ont. passed away Aug. 11. He was born Apr. 9, 192i! in Dolinovka, Russia . In 1926 t he family immigr ated to Altona , Man. , la ter moving to Coaldale, Alta. and then to a farm at Vauxhall, Alta. He accept- .......-......_ ........... ed Christ , was baptized and joined th e MB church. His mother died when he was 12, a nd his father remarried the next year. In 1945 they moved to Niagara-on-the-Lake. H e found wor k in the General Motors plant, wh er e h e stayed until retiring in 1985. A He m arried Annie Boldt in Sardis, B.C. in 1951. Although he could not sing, he loved to hear others sing. He was deeply concerned that others should corne to know the Lord. Predeceased by his parents and 1 sister and 1 brother in infancy, he is mourned by his wife; stepmother Katharina; son David of Niagara on-the-Lake; daughters Helen of Vancouver and Katie Stefels of Winnipeg; 2 grandsons and 1 sister.
