TREVOR LYLE SHANTZ

Trevor Lyle Shantz of Guernsey, Sask. died in an accident near the family farm Sept. 16. He was bo n May 21, 1976 to Don and Pat Shantz. He is remembered as a loving son, brother and grandson who brought great pleasure to his family by his willing obedience, jokes and teasing, intense desire for knowledge, and cheerful disposition. He was enthusiastic about life, helping on the farm, spending time with his friends and pursuing interests like golf, hunting, trapping, canoeing, skiing, hiking, biking, skating, hockey, reading, drawing and woodworking. He is mourned by his parents; sister s Theresa, Glenda and Dian, all of Guernsey; great-grandmother Alice Wenger of Edmonton; and grandparents Jim and Carol Martin of Edmonton and Lyle and Jean Shantz of Watrous, Sask. The funeral was Sept. 20 in Sharon Mennonite Church, Guernsey, with Dale Wuschke and Peter Laurie ministering.
