NETA PENNER

Neta Penner of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully Oct. 3. She was born Feb. 6, 1913 to David and Agatha Schulz in Alexandertal, Ukraine. She immigrated to Canada in 1925. She helped support her family by working as a housekeeper. She accepted the Lord in her youth and was baptized as a teenager. She lived an exemplary Christian life. She married Peter Penner of Coaldale, Alta. Mar. 31, 1934. They farmed near Coaldale until his sudden passing in 1966. She moved to Lethhridge in 1971. Predeceased by her husband and oldest son Ernest in 1989, she is mourned by her children Wilf of Calgary, Lou Kaethler of Mississauga, Ont., and Vie, Wally and Harry of Lethbridge; and 15 grandchildren.
