ANNE LETKEMAN

Anne Letkeman of Swift Current, Sask. passed away July 18. She was born Feb. 5, 1921 to Henry and Maria Mueller in Kelstern, Sask. She received Christ in 1938 and was baptized in 1945, joining Elim MB Church in Helstern. She married Jacob Letkeman Oct. 22, 1944. They farmed at Kelstern until 1958, then moved to Swift Current in 1961. She will be remembered for her love of people and her hospitality. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and music and was a faithful supporter of her church. Predeceased by her husband in 1974 and 1 brother, she is survived by her children Ruth Krahn of Dalmeny, Sask., Joyce Wiensz of Melfort, Sask. and Ken of Edmonton; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. The funeral was July 22 at Bridgeway Community Church, Swift Current, with Albert Friesen ministering.
