BENJAMIN WALL

Benjamin Wall of Winnipeg passed away June 8. He was born Sept. 18, 1913 to Klass and Katherine Wall in Menlertchick, Crimea. In 1925 they immigrated to Canada, settling near Sanford, Man. At age 25 he accepted Christ. In 1938 he married Mary Enns, and they purchased a farm near Sanford. They moved to Winnipeg in 1953, but continued farming until selling the farm in 1962. He then made his living in real estate and land development. Mary died in 1971, and in 1972 he married Margaret Reimer of Winnipeg. Ater retirement, he remained active in Elmwood MB Church, Winnipeg, and enjoyed playing golf and curling. Predeceased by his first wife Mary, he is mourned by his wife Margaret; daughters Marlene Horch of Vancouver, WA and Edith Nelson of Bremerton, WA; sons Eduard of Vancouver, B.C., John of Victoria, B.C. and Jim of Winnipeg; 11 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister and 1 brother. The funeral was June 11 in Elmwood MB Church, with Doug Enns and Abe Klassen ministering.
