JACOB WIEBE

Jacob Wiebe of Coaldale, Alta. passed away on ,July 27. He was born to Peter and Helen Wiebe on October 20, 1908, on the ship "Maine" crossing the Atlantic from the Ukraine to Canada; childhood in central Sas katchewan and youth at Great Deer near Borden, Sask.: here he attended school and accepted Jesus at age 16 through C.N. Hiebert; was baptized and joined the Borden MB Church; active in various choirs and music groups; married Jessie Siemens on December 3, 1939 in Coaldale, where they lived several years before moving to Yarrow, B.C.; returned to Coaldale after seven years. He is survived by his wife Jessie; daughter Charlotte of Edmonton; six sons and wives: Vernon and Sharon of Three Hills, Alta., Ed win and Louise, Ernest and Linda, Wesley and Nadean, John and Patricia and Richard and Wilma, all of Coaldale; 13 grandchildren, three brothers and five sisters.
