ARNOLD G. POLINSKY

Arnold G. Polinsky of Lashburn, Sask. passed away on August 11. He was born on January 26, 1892 and raised in Friedensthal, Ukraine. He married Martha Polinsky in 1918. Both accepted Christ as their personal Saviour in the early '20s during a revival. They came to Canada with two small sons in 1926, and settled in Lashburn. After farming for 25 years in the Burke district, the couple moved into the town of Lashburn where they enjoyed another 27 years of retirement. Arnold will be missed for many reasons, among them his faithfulness to the church and his godly leadership in the home. He is survived by his wife Martha; children Eric and Erdme, Helmut, Ewald and Elma, Hilda and Wilbert Wiebe, Selma and Earl Gripp and Esther and Don Jost; 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral was held at the Lashburn MB Church on August 13, with pastor Adolph Redekopp in charge.
