MRS. CATHERINE R. BOLDT

(Mrs.) Catherine R. Boldt of Vineland, Onto went to be with the Lord on May 24. She was born on May 14, 1911 in Munich, North Dakota, daughter of Jacob and Anna Schmor. She emigrated to Canada with her parents in 1913, settling in Hepburn, Sask. Here she completed high school, and spent two and a half years at Bethany Bible Institute. Catherine accepted Christ at the age of 13 and the same year was baptized and received into the membership of the Hepburn Mennonite Brethren Church. In 1945 she moved to British Columbia, eventually settling in Clearbrook. On October 28, 1978, she was married to John Boldt of Vineland, Ont., and soon after the wedding moved into John's family home. She passed away quietly after a short battle with cancer.

She is remembered for her clear testimony of Jesus, her Saviour and Lord, and for her deep peace during her illness. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Herman and five siblings who died in their childhood. She leaves to mourn her husband John; his children John and wife Mary Anne, Elizabeth, and Henry and wife Lydia; five grandchildren; her brother Jacob and wife Olga of Winnipeg; her sister Nettie and husband George Burgess of Kelowna, Alta.; Nettie, widow of her brother Herman of Clearbrook, B.C.; and many relatives and friends.
