MRS. MARGARET KROEKER

(Mrs.) Margaret Kroeker of Alexander, Man. passed away on April 11. She was born to Johann and Elizabeth Friesen on November 2, 1886 in Muntau, South Russia. Early in her adult life she was baptized and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church. When her family moved to the Terek settlement she met Henry C. Kroeker whom she married on April 15, 1911. They lived in Waterloo, Onto for three years before moving to Arnaud, Manitoba. Their final home was Alexander, Man. Her quiet and gentle nature endeared her to all around her. She enjoyed the fellowship of Christian friends and especially those in her church. She is predeceased by a son in infancy, her husband Henry, and son John. She leaves to mourn: one daughter Kay and husband Mike Santo of Osoyoos, B.C.; four sons: Henry and wife Doris of Brandon, Man., Cornelius and wife Randi of Prince George, B.C., Jacob and wife Elizabeth of Abbotsford, B.C. and George of Alexander, Man.; one daughter-in-law Sharon of Vancouver, B.C.; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends and relatives.
