MRS. BARBARA SALTZMAN

Mrs. Barbara Saltzman, 87, died at her home in Flanagan, Ill. at 2 a.m. Friday, May 7, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at her home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Waldo Mennonite church with Rev. J. D. Hartzler and Rev. Edwin Stalter officiating. Burial was made in the Waldo cemetery.

She was born near Gridley on May 15, 1867, the daughter of Joseph and Christina Eicher Stalter. She married Peter Saltzman at Gridley on Nov. 20, 1887.

Four daughters, Mrs. Martha Hartzler, Minonk, and Mrs. May Yordy, Mrs. Anne Eigsti, and Miss Clara Saltzman, all of Flanagan; one son, Raymond of Minonk, and one brother, John of Gridley, survive. Her husband, two children and two brothers preceded her in death. She was a member of the Waldo Mennonite church.

SERVICES HELD FOR AGED MEMBER

Metamora, Ill. — Mrs. Barbara Saltzman, aged member of the Waldo Mennonite church at Flanagan, died at her home in Flanagan on May 7. She was born near Gridley on May 15, 1867, and was nearing her 87th birthday at the time of death.

Funeral services at the Waldo church were in charge of J. D. Hartzler and Edwin Stalter. Surviving are four daughters, one son, and an aged brother, John Stalter of Gridley.
