MRS. MARGARET FROESE

(Mrs.) Margaret Froese of Killarney, Man. was called home to be with her Lord on February 28. She was born Margaret Thies sen in Russia on March 2, 1899. In her youth she accepted Christ as her Saviour. On June 25, 1919 she was married to Abram Wiebe. Four sons and one daughter were born to the couple. In 1925 the family immigrated to Canada, living first in the Winkler (Man.) area and later farming in the Bannerman, Lena and Holmfield districts of Manitoba. She and her husband were baptized and received into the Mennonite Brethren Church in 1931. Her husband passed away in January 1939, after which she had to do farm work by day and housework at night to provide for the family's needs. She later entered into a second marriage with Jacob Froese, father of six child ren, who died in 1960. A few years later she sold the farm and retired with her daughter Annie to Killarney. She will be re membered for her integrity, her uncomplaining attitude, her gentle humour and her uncompromising faith. She is survived by nine children and a number of grand- and great-grandchildren, and by one brother. The funeral service was held at the Lakeview (Killarney) Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Ernie Bergen and Rev . Abram Neufeld officiating.
