DEBERAH LORRAINE PENNER

Lorraine Penner of Langley, B.C. passed away in her sleep on January 6. She was born to Henry and Betty (nee Wiebe) Penner in Vancouver on January 12, 1959. In her active childhood and youth she never complained about her handicap. Her hobby was working with her hands. On June 15, 1975 she gave witness of her faith in the Lord and was baptized and accepted into the Brooks wood Mennonite Brethren Church. In April 1977 she entered the hospital and had a Harrington Rod operation. One month later she graduated from Langley Secondary School. When her bodycast was removed on August 4 of the same year, she had respiratory failure and spent seven months in the hospital. In the fall of 1978 she entered Trinity Western College and completed the first semester in business management.

She is survived by her parents, sisters Marcia and Jennifer, her grandfather Henry Penner, aunts and uncles and cousins and friends.
