MRS. ALMA DRIEDGER

(Mrs,) Alma Driedger of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away on January 20. She was born on September 5, 1924 in Hodgeville, Sask, She received Jesus Christ as Saviour as a young girl and was baptized in the early 1940s, She attended the Herbert Bible School and graduated from Prairie Bible Institute. On J uly 21, 1951 she married Frank Driedger in Abbotsford, B.C. Throughout her life she had strong spiritual interests. She served in many ways in church life , including in Pioneer Girls and in home Bible studies , While living in Boston Bar, B.C . for ten years she was active in a ladies' fellowship there and in community services. She was an avid Bible student, and kept a prayer list on which both needs and answers were recorded, The family cherishes the Christian example which their mother 3et. She is survived by her husband Frank; children Sharon and Joe Jagich, Dianne and J im Ross, and Bernie and Joan Driedger; four grandchildren; bro thers Elmer and wife Martha Wiens and Helmuth and wife Dorothy Wiens; sister , Mrs. Walter Dyck; and many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was held J anuary 24 in the Broadway Mennonite Brethren Church with pastors John E. Friesen and Herman Lenzmann officiating.
