Her days were spent caring for her family and friends. Needlepoint was her favourite hobby. She was a constant comfort to her husband as his suffering due to illness increased. She was a member of Culloden MB Church in Vancouver. She is mourned by her husband; sons George and Hartmut; daughters Trudy Peter and Alvina Hildebrand; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 1 brother and 1 sister. The funeral was Sept. 6.
