Wife of Retired Bishop And Evangelist Dies
Harrison, Va. — Mrs. Anna Good Jennings, 91, wife of Bishop William Jennings, died Dec. 21 at the Virginia Mennonite Home here.
Bishop Jennings, now retired, served for many years as minister and bishop of Mennonite churches in eastern Tennessee and also engaged in evangelistic work in Virginia and West Virginia for about 25 years. He and his wife marked their 71st wedding anniversary last Oct. 6.
Besides Bishop Jennings, the large family of survivors includes 11 children, 36 grandchildren, and 63 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Good of Goshen, Ind.; and a brother, John Good of Knoxville, Tenn.
The funeral was arranged for Dec. 24 at Weavers Mennonite Church here.
