MRS. ANNA BUECKERT

Anna Bueckert of Saskatoon passed away on September 28 at the age of 93. She was born to Dietrich and Katharina Goossen on August 8, 1885 in Marion, South Dakota. In her childhood, each day before breakfast and before bed her father would read the Bible and explain it to the children. At the age of 15 Anna made a confession to follow Jesus and received the assurance of the forgiveness of her sins. On June 10, 1900 she was baptized along with her sister by her father. On May 30, 1910 she was married to Dietrich Bueckert. The two shared more than 60 years together.

She leaves three daughters, Martha and Fred Stobbe, Dalmeny, Mary and Pete Heinrichs, Wolfpoint, Mont., Betty and Jake Rempel, Saskatoon, one son, Arthur and Teena Bueckert, one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ella Bueckert, Redcliffe, Alta., 13 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
