JOHN SCHULTZ

John Schultz of Saskatoon passed away Aug. 31, after a long battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 25, 1921 to John and Susanna Schultz in Main Centre, Sask. He grew up in Gouldtown, Sask. He worked near Herbert, Sask. He married Alma Penner June 28, 1942. They moved to Crooked River, Sask., where he worked in a saw mill. They moved to Tisdale, Sask., where he began working for the Co-op in 1943. In 1954, they moved to Saskatoon, where he worked for the Co-op until retiring in 1986. He loved his family and enjoyed travelling, camping and music. The Bible was very dear to him. Predeceased by 1 brother, he is mourned by his wife; daughters Verna and Ronda Duke, both of Saskatoon; son Melvin of Calgary; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters and 4 brothers. The funeral was Sept. 4 in West Portal MB Church, Saskatoon, with Dwayne Barkman ministering.
