AGANETHA MARTENS

Aganetha Martens of Winnipeg passed away June 9. She was born Nov. 22, 1898 to Heinrich and Aganetha Goertzen in southern Russia. She married John Martens Apr. 21,1919. In 1989 they celebrated their 70th anniversary among family and friends in North Kildonan MB Church, Winnipeg. Predeceased by all her brothers and sisters, she is mourned by her husband; children Minna Boyd, John, Henry and Agnes; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The funeral was June 12 in North Kildonan MB Church, with William Neufeld and Henry Klassen ministering.
