GERTRUDE SIEMENS

Gertrude Siemens of Vancouver passed away July 5 at age 87. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1925. She lived in Vancouver since 1937. She was baptized May 5, 1957 and received into the membership of Vancouver MB Church by Abram Remple and Henry Klassen. She remained a member until her death. She maintained a special interest and commitment for the entire work of the Christian church, with a particular concern for foreign missions. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 1 sister, she is survived by sisters Anna and Agatha of Vancouver and Susie and Katie of Saskatoon. The funeral was July 9 in Vancouver MB Church, with Abe L. Klassen ministering.
