ALEX SCHULTZ

Alex Schultz of Winkler, Man. passed away June 22. He was born Dec. 18, 1899 to Abraham and Elizabeth Schultz in Avon, SD. He spent most of his life in Waldheim, Sask., where he was a GM and Massey Ferguson dealer for 50 years. He accepted Jesus early and faithfully served the Lord the rest of his life. He was baptized in Salem KMB Church, but for most of his life was a member of Waldheim MB Church. He served in Sunday school and for many years was auctioneer at the Waldheim MB Church annual mission sale. He enjoyed supporting and giving to missions and was a delegate to many conferences. Predeceased by his first wife Pauline (Heppner), 1 son, 3 brothers and 7 sisters, he is survived by his second wife Elizabeth(Labun); sons Edgar of Rosetown, Sask ., Melvin of Blaine Lake, Sask. and Delmer of Granbury, TX; daughters Marina Adrian of Trochu, Alta. and Carol vanRootselaar of Ottawa; 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The funeral was June 25 in Winkler (Man.) MB Church , with Jake Neufeld ministering.
