ELIZABETH WIEBE

Elizabeth Wiebe of Abbotsford, B.C. passed away May 3. She was born Apr. 4, 1894 to Peter and Katherine Delesky in Prangenau, Molotschna, Russia. At an early age she longed to be a child of God. She received faith through John 3 on New Year's Eve, and was baptized by brother Nightingale. In 1919 she married Aron Wiebe. They immigrated to Canada in 1928, living in Watrous, Sask. In 1930 they moved to Winnipegosis, Man. After 10 hard years they moved to Yarrow, B.C. Aron passed away in 1960. She longed for her home going and often wondered if she had been forgotten. Predeceased by 1 grandchild, she is survived by her children Kae Isaaks of Chilliwack, B.C., Lucy Epp and Martha of Abbotsford, Aron of Sayward, B.C. and Freda Andem of California; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 1 sister. The funeral was May 7 in Bakerview MB Church, Clearbrook, B.C., with Harry Heidebrecht ministering.
