Jake Alvin Isaak

Jake Alvin Isaak of Clearbrook, B.C. passed away ,Jan. 2. He was born June 13, 1937 at Sunkist, Sask. When he was 4, the family moved to Abbotsford, B.C. He attended Mennonite Educational Institute, where he first made a decision to follow the Lord. He worked at various jobs. For a number of years he was grade foreman for Pete Peters' paving company. In June, 1984 he moved home to care for his ailing father, remaining with his mother when his father died in 1986. He worked for a surveying company and was killed instantly on the job when struck by a car. Predeceased by his father and two infant brothers, he is mourned by his mother Nettie; sisters Susan Bartsch, Elsie Lyste, Helen Diggins and Carol Amendt; and brothers Pete, Don and John. The funeral was Jan. 6 in Clearbrook MB Church, with John Klassen and ,Jacob Pauls ministering.
