MRS. JUSTINA WILLEMS

(Mrs.) Justina Willems was born to John and Marie Regier on December 25, 1894 in Henderson, Nebraska. In 1914 she accepted Christ as her Saviour, was baptized and joined the Mennonite Brethren Church, of which she remained a faithful member until her passing in Saskatoon, Sask., on February 2, 1978.

With her parents she moved to Waldheim, Sask. in 1918. Marrriage to Gerhard H. Willems on Novewmber 2, 1924 followed. In the fall of 1951, he was taken in a farming accident. Mrs. Willems continued on the farm for awhile and felt very rewarded to have all her children graduate from Bethany Bible Institute. She finally bought a home in Hepburn, Sask., but when she needed more care she moved into the Dalmeny Home for the Aged in 1958. She moved to her final home, the Sunnyside Nursing Home in Saskatoon, in 1972. She loved her bible and read through it many times.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1951 andher eldest son John, in 1977. Left to mourn are two daughters and three sons and their spouses. Esther and Herman Berg of Hepburn, Maria and larry Speiser of Lanigan, Pete and Betty Willems of Winnipeg, Dan and BettyWillems of Hepburn, a daughter-in-law, Margaret Willems; 26 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many friends.
