EILEEN MABEL FAST

Eileen Mabel Fast of Hepburn, Sask. passed away Nov. 27 of a heart attack. She was born Nov. 9, 1932 to Henry and Susie Friesen at Waldheim, Sask. At a very youngewing clothes for them. She loved to cook and bake. She was a practical joker, and had a mischievous grin and a twinkle in her eyes. She taught her daughters that faith would get them though everything and how to be the best mom they could be. She took pride and interest in everything her grandchildren did. She had a zest for life. She and Eldred's closeness and dedication to each other were an inspiration. After Eldred retired, they occasionally travelled with The Evangelical Alliance Mission and Mennonite Disaster Service. After a serious illness in 1996, she had many health struggles. Predeceased by her parents, she is mourned by Eldred; daughters Bev Letkeman and Cindy Sansom; 3 grandchildren; I brother and stepmother Margaret Friesen. The funeral was Dec. 1 in Waldheim MB Church, with Clarence Peters ministering. age, she accepted Christ. She was baptized May 21, 1956 in Waldheim loar Church. After high school, she married Eldred Fast. They had two daughters, who were the light of her life. S
