GEORGE D. NEUFELD

George D. Neufeld of Carman, Manitoba went peacefully to be with his Lord on Sunday, May 29, 1977. He was born on October 3, 1900 to Jacob and Helen (nee Dyck) Neufeld of Chortitz, Russia. They moved to Canada when he was a child. On January 11, 1931 he was married to Susanna Sawatzky. They farmed at Aberdeen, Saskatchewan until his retirement in 1965, when they moved to Saskatoon.

On January 8, 1968 his wife, Susanna, went to be with the Lord. He continued to live in Saskatoon until the fall of 1975, when he moved to Carman.

He leaves to mourn two daughters and their husbands, Ethel (Mrs. Ed) Penner and Gloria (Mrs. John) Block; seven grandchildren; three brothers; one sister: and many relatives and friends.
