GEORGE D. NEUFELD

George D . Neufeld of Carman, Manitoba went peacefully to be with his Lord on Sunday , May 29, 1977. He was born on October 3, 1900 to Jacob and Helen (nee Dyck) Neufeld of Chortitz, Russia . They moved to Canada when he was a child. On January 11, 1931 he was married to Susanna Sawatzky . They farmed at Aberdeen, Saskatchewan until his retirement in 1965 , when they moved to Saskatoon. On January 8 , 1968 his wife, Susanna, went to be with the Lord. He continued to live in Saskatoon until the fall of 1975, when he moved to Carman . He leaves to mourn t wo daughters and their husbands, Ethel (Mrs. Ed) Penner and Gloria (Mrs. John) Block; seven grandchildren; three brothers ; one sister: and many relatives and friends.
