1914 IMMIGRANT FROM RUSSIA KILLED BY AUTO AT REEDLEY

Reedley, Calif. — A 68-year-old ranch worker who came to this country as an immigrant from Russia in 1914 was fatally injured here Sunday night, Dec. 20.

George Kroeker was walking on a Reedley street when he was hit by a Reedley motorist. The driver of the car was not held.

Mr. Kroeker leaves no known relatives. Funeral services were conducted at the Cairns Funeral Home by Rev. Dan Friesen, pastor of the Reedley M. B. Church.
