Two elderly residents of the Wellman, Iowa community died in late July. Mrs. Joseph M. Gnagey, 76, passed away July 23 at an Iowa City hospital where she had been a patient four days. The funeral was held at the West Union Mennonite Church. Mrs. Delila Litwiller, 83, died July 25 at a Kalona nursing home after a two-day illness. Services were at the Upper Deer Creek Conservative Mennonite Church.
