BENJAMIN A. NAFFZIGER

Benjamin Albert Naffziger, son of Joseph and Barbar [sic Barbara] Martin Naffziger, was born at Minier, Ill. on April 16, 1881, and died May 6, 1964 at San Diego, Calif., age 83 years.

He was in good health until about two years ago when he had a stroke, but was able to get around in a wheel chair until just a few weeks ago. All six of his brothers and sisters and his parents preceded him in death, as did a half sister and a half brother.

He was married to Linda Bloom, who died in 1912. He then was married to Dora Burdett, and two sons were born to them. She died in 1935. He later moved to San Diego, Calif. and married the third time. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Cecil of Missouri and Loren of San Diego; and two grandsons.

He was baptized in the Mennonite faith in his youth. After moving to California he became a member of the Nazarene Church.

Funeral services were held May 11 at the Lewis Colonial Mortuary, with interment in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
