Hagerstown, Md. — Funeral services for Leroy E. Martin, 17, who died in a grade crossing crash in Pennsylvania, were held Aug. 29 at the Stouffer's Mennonite Church, Smithsburg, of which he was a member.

The young man, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin C. Martin, was returning home from a visit with his intended bride in York County when his car crashed into a freight train at Blue Ridge Summit, Pa. The tragedy occurred only a few days before his 18th birthday.

Two brothers and three sisters survive in addition to the parents.
