Date of Death: 2013 October 2, Kansas

HESSTON - Christine Charlotte (Bestvater) Peters passed away on Oct. 2, 2013, at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born on March 16, 1914, in rural Harvey County.
She is survived by her sister, Mildred Rickenburg of Lincoln; brothers, John Bestvater of Goessel and Henry Bestvater of Newton; daughter, Mary L. Pattison of Wichita; sons, John R. Peters (Ruth) of Walton and Charles J. Peters of Newton; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Highland Cemetery in Hesston. The memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2013, at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Memorials may be designated to Hesston Intergenerational Child Development.
Baker Funeral Home of Peabody is in charge of the arrangements.
