MRS. LUISE JANZEN

Luise Janzen, nee Quiring, daughter Abram and Elizabeth Quiring (nee Koo was born on February 24, 1897 in Roseno Sagradowka, where she spent her childho and youth. Her mother died in 1925 and h father in 1933 . In November, 1933 s married Franz Jakob Janzen and adopted h three children, Frank , Henry and Anna. They lived in Neu·Halbstadt, Sagradow until 1943. During World War II they we evacuated by the retreating German arm and settled in Wart heland, Poland. In 19 her husband and both sons were called serve in the German army. With the retrea ing army she and her daughter came Wolthem , Fallingbostel, where she later w reunited with her husband and sons. In 1949 they immigrated to Winnipeg, a after three years moved to a small farm Yarrow, B.C. In 1969 she moved to t Menno Home for two months and lat settled with her daughter in Clearbrook, B. When asked whether she was ready to d she replied: "Yes. Jonah the prophet say 'Salvation is of the Lord.' " She passed aw December 7. The funeral, December 11, w conducted by Rev. H . Lenzmann and Rev. Peter Unger, in the Clearbrook MB Church. She is survived by her sons, Frank and Katie Janzen, Henry and Martha J anzen, and her daughter, Annie Janzen, all of Clearbrook.
