HILDA DUECK

Hilda Dueck, daughter of Frank and Hele Schellenberg was born August 19, 1930 i Aberdeen, Sask. She spent her childhood i Saskatoon; in 1942 the family settled i Niagara-on-the-Lake, Onto At the age of 13 sh experienced salvation and was baptized an received into the Virgil (Ont.) Mennonit Brethren Church in 1946. On May 3, 1952 she was married to Jac Dueck. Three children were born to them James, Barbara and Cheryl. Throughout he life, Hilda endeavored to please God and serverecent communion service she shared how sh had earnestly prayed for an elderly neighbou and also a young neighbour girl. She happil related that both had accepted Christ after he husband shared the "Four Spiritual Laws with them. She went to be with the Lord September 7 She is survived by her loving husband, Jack three children: James, 18, Barbara, 15, an Cheryl, 11, of St. Catharines, Ont.; he parents: Frank and Helen Schellenberg o Virgil; two sisters: Mrs. Irene Enns of S Catharines and Virginia Schellenberg o Calgary; two brothers: Albert of St. Catha rines and Ted of Virgil. Funeral services were held September 13 i the Fairview Mennonite Brethren Church wit Rev. Harvey Gossen officiating. The Sacred aires Octet sang several numbers includin Hilda's favourite song: "The King Coming."
