DIETRICH HEINRICH LOEWEN
Mrs. Heinrich H. Loewen, and belov husband of Helena Loewen, was born Dece ber 31, 1875 in New Halbstadt, Sou Russia. In 1901 he married Kornelia Barge a union blessed with nine children of whi three are still living. In the summer of 19 Mrs. Loewen passed away. He married Helena Derksen in 1919. Th marriage was blessed with four children which two are still living. Dietrich accepted t he Lord as his Savio while doing alternative service for the go ernment in the late 1800's. On May 30, 19 he was baptized and received in the Me nonite Brethren Church. He came to Canada with the family alva until IHG2 when he retin,d into the tow of Herbert. He passed away December Rev. William Buller officiated at the fune ?r1d Deeember 19 in tht> M(>nnonit.e Brethr ,~urch of Herbert. H.~ leaves to mourn his wife Helena; tw sons: Dietrich of Lawson, Sask. and Geor llnd wife Anita of Los Angeles, Calif.; thr daughters: Anna and husband Abram Froe of Nipawin, Sask., Eliilubeth and hURba Henry Flink of Clearbrook, B.C., Helen a husband Pete Klassen of Kelstern, Sas om, daughter-in-law and one half-sist Maria, in Russia.
