MRS. SARA KRAHN

Sara Krahn was born in 1881 in Russia and here married Jacob Brown. Of th~ 3 daughters and 6 sons which were born to them, 3 died in infancy. In 1906 she was saved and baptized, JOlnHlg the M.B. Church. She remained a faithful member until her death. After her husband's death, she~ married Bernard Thiessen. In 1924 they came to Canada, settling in Manitob,a and later in B.C. I In 1952 she married Isaac Krahn who passed away in 1964. Sara's daughter, Neta cared-for her until her placement in Menno Hospital where she spent the remaining 5 years of her life. .. Due to heart failure Sara died on April 25, 1973, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Tina Wiebe, and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Thiessen. Sara. is survived by 1 sister, 6 sons, 5 daughters and their families. Funeral services were held April 30 with Rev. John Stobbe and Rev. David Nickel officiating.
