MARGARET BRAUN

Margaret Braun was born in Main Centre, Sask., in 1910. Her parents were John and Katharina Schroeder. She acc epted the Lord as h er Saviour at an early age and w as baptized in 1930 and jo ined the MB Church 8't Ma in Centre. She has been very active 'in church work, especially singing in the choir. She revealed a deep concern or th e welfare of others. Although her application for m iss ion a r y service was not accepted, she bore this disappointment wi th grace . For many years she serv ed as dieticia n in the Hepburn Bible School and du ri ng summers in the camps, during which times she made many friends. She was ma rried to Henry Braun in 1953, in the Bwtherfield MB Church. For several years they lived in Alexander, Man ., then in 1 959 they moved to Winnipeg. The marriage was blessed with three children. She passed away peacefully on June 29 in her 63rd y ea r. Predeceased by her p·arents, she -is th e first of their ch ildren to be gathered to her eternal rest. She leaves t o mo urn, her husband, Henry, two sons: Joh n and Gladys Braun of A!exander, Leonard and Helen Braun of Calgary; a daughter, Alice and Nei'l Dyck of Boisseva in, Man., and six sisters and four brot·hers. Funeral services w ere held on July 4 in the North Kildonan MB Church.
